The decriminalisation
of abortion in UK in March 2026 may well be acclaimed by some as a 'victory'
for modern western feminism, but it is a disaster for any civilised nation. A disaster, a ticking time-bomb, a calamity
and a catastrophe, no less! It opens up the
way for abortions at any stage of pregnancy including during the
third-trimester, and for any reason, including sex-selective abortions.
Only about 1% of women
actually support third-trimester abortions, but the agenda- and lobby-filled
corridors of power are filled with people who simply don't care about nor want
to understand the long-term consequences of either huge rates of abortion or
decriminalising it.
The fact that something
has been legalised does not make it right, acceptable or moral. History can serve up plenty of evidence to
show that making things 'legal' has sometimes led to great and even genocidal perpetrations
of evil.
There are many reasons
why couples choose not to have children, or to have fewer than they otherwise
might. The stresses of the family economy (can we really
afford it? or, both parents are forced to work full-time and long hours, or even work two jobs; or, having fewer
children means we can invest more finance, time and energy in the ones we do
have); personal convenience (we don't want to be loaded down with so much
burden for so many years, we want to be freer to enjoy life more ourselves); young people getting married at a later age; prioritising
career over homemaking; fear of the present and/or the future (we don't want to
bring children into the world to face this kind of society); ease of access to
abortion services, and so on.
The effect of these factors, combined with corresponding escalating abortion rates, means that the number of
live births nationally in UK are plummeting, and have now fallen significantly
lower than the average birthrate of 2.1 children per couple which is needed to
maintain the level of our population. Our
native-born population, of whatever ethnicity, has therefore started to
decrease. This is something over which
our politicians of every party have drawn a veil of silence. They simply don't or don't want to raise the
subject. And this is not just a problem
which pertains to white British people, it is a problem across the board in UK
life. However, because the white British
are still the majority, it is therefore particularly true of them.
The slow but sure
long-term consequence of a lower-than-necessary average birthrate over several
decades can only be the weakening and loss of corporate national ethnic
identity. Of whatever ethnicity. No people group and no nation on earth can
maintain its identity and survive long-term under such circumstances. It will inevitably shrink and eventually die
out. The only way to then maintain a
nation's population and the strength of its economy (including repaying its sovereign national debt, and its tax and NI burdens) is to encourage and allow average annual net
migration into that country to be at a level that would at least balance out
the loss.
In UK in 2024, the
average live birthrate per couple in England fell to 1.4 and in Scotland even
further to 1.25. The number of live
births totalled c625,000 and the number of abortions was a huge, jaw-dropping
c300,000 (the vast majority of which were for personal or economic
convenience). This staggering number of
abortions therefore represents about one third of total potential live births,
and amounts to almost 1,000 every day that passes! And it is a figure that has been increasing
year on year. In 2023 in England and
Wales, it was 277,970,
while in 2022 it was 251,377.
I will leave the reader to do the
arithmetic needed with these numbers, in order to work out the average level of
annual net migration into the UK which is necessary simply to maintain our
present level of population, for as long as this state of affairs persists. This annual abortion figure is far greater
than the total deaths in Gaza, and it is double the average annual death toll
in the Ukraine-Russia war, situations which have been filling our screens for
so long... If the word ‘genocide’ is
being used for what has happened in Gaza, then with this level of abortion we are
certainly justified to talk about the silent and hidden genocide of the unborn!
This huge and
calamitous level of abortion, for personal or economic convenience, is the
proverbial elephant in the room. Put
simply, we are killing off the future generation of this country before it is
even born, presently about one third of it. And no
one is putting their finger on this... So
do we really need to decriminalise abortion, drive this huge figure even
higher, and make the problem even worse?! May God have mercy! In fact, I don't see any way in which a nation
which kills off its unborn children on such an industrial scale can expect to live under
the blessing of God. Rather the
opposite, it should expect his righteous judgement and nothing else!
The Home Office said
recently that its official figures show net migration – the difference between
those entering and leaving the country – added 2.6 million people to the UK
population between 2021 and 2024, i.e. an average of c650,000 per year over
that period of four years.
Again, I will leave you
to work out the longer-term trajectory of all this, and where we will
inevitably end up within just a few short decades. The people and the ethnic groups who will
dominate life in the UK in the not-too-distant future (regardless of who
migrates into this country or from where, and regardless of who leaves these
shores and emigrates elsewhere) will be those who resist giving themselves over
to the short-term convenience of abortion and commit to having more than an
average of 2.1 children per couple. This future of this country will belong to them. Those
who don't do this, will fast become a minority just as surely as night
follows day...
‘The
foreigner who lives among you will rise above you higher and higher, but you
will sink lower and lower… He will be
the head, but you will be the tail.’
(Deut. 28:43-44)
